ABOUT ME
I received my Master's of Art in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. There, my education was focused on social justice counseling and addictions work. Prior, I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Sociology at the College of Charleston. During my bachelor’s studies I focused on social psychology which grew my desire to further my education into clinical work. I am an associate-licensed clinician and am under supervision to continue to learn and ensure that I am offering my clients the best care possible.
In session, I know that I don’t get it right every time. I strive to create a space where you will feel comfortable telling me when I’m a little off — or completely in left field. I hold many privileged identities and work to be aware of how those show up in session. I intentionally work toward creating a space for people of all lived experiences to find safety and comfort in my therapy room.
I’m born and raised in the Carolinas. As a Seattle transplant, I’m still learning about all that the PWN has to offer. I love to bike around, check out new restaurants, hunt for antique glassware, and tend to my many aforementioned plants.
